1. Cleaning: Once the coals have cooled, gently clean out the fire pit with a plastic dustpan and brush to avoid scratches. For a deeper clean, rinse with plain water. Avoid using harsh cleaners or chemicals on the coating, as they may damage the finish.

2. Paint and Wear: Your fire pit is coated with a black or silver fire-resistant paint, but be aware that this coating may wear over time depending on usage. While minor rust may eventually develop in areas where the coating wears down, this will not impact the fire pit's functionality. If desired, you can remove rust spots with a bit of lemon juice and then protect those areas with a light layer of natural vegetable oil.
